Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is currently spending time resting due to his shoulder injury. However, it hasn’t deterred him from showing up at the Warriors games to support his teammates. The Warriors recently won for the third consecutive time in a game against the Utah Jazz. While they are currently positioned 10th in the Western Conference, one particular Warriors point guard is shining in the recent games with his on-court performance.
Things were not looking good when it was made known that Stephen Curry ?would be sidelined for several weeks due to his injury. Klay Thompson moreover has not been playing back-to-back games. However, the Warriors led by Jordan Poole secured victory over the Jazz on Wednesday night.

The Golden State Warriors, 17-18, defeated the Utah Jazz 112-107 to secure a .500 record. While Jordan Poole led the team to victory scoring 26 points, it was 25-year-old Ty Jerome who receive high-fives and back slaps from his teammates. Evidently, Stephen Curry too couldn’t hold himself back on the sideline as he approached the Warriors guard for a high-five. Both Steph and Poole were visibly impressed by Jerome following the winning game against the Jazz. Jerome scored 17 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.

With Curry temporarily off the games, Jerome has increased playing time in the court and he is proving his worth. The 2019 NCAA champion has played in five games since Curry’s injury and is averaging 11.4 points and 3.8 assists per game.

However, it was the Warriors game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Christmas Day that could be consider one of his best games.
Warriors beat Ja Morant’s Grizzlies
The Golden State Warriors played against the Memphis Grizzlies on December 25 at Chase Center. Warriors guard Jordan Poole led the team to victory, 123-109, scoring 32 points, three rebounds, and two assists. Teammate Klay Thompson added 24 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.

Ty Jerome scored 14 points, four rebounds, and one assist. Jerome made six successful shots out of nine attempts from the floor and two out of four attempts from the three.

On the other hand, Grizzlies’ Ja Morant scored 36 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists in the losing game. Forward player Dillon Brooks added 13 points, three rebounds, and one assist.
