Following a similar path to WNBA star Brittney Griner, Me’arah O’Neal might have made her decision on the college team she will play for. Just like her dad, Me’arah might be joining the LSU Tigers to play under veteran coach Kim Mulkey. WNBA star Brittney Griner previously played under coach Mulkey at Baylor University.
Me’arah might be going through the same road as the Phoenix Mercury star. Shaq and her daughter shared their excitement about visiting LSU on their Instagram accounts. Fans are eager to know if Me’arah will join the LSU Tigers, to follow the path of her dad.

Me’arah to replicate Brittney Griner’s brilliance?
While Griner was one of the most sought-after prospects in women’s basketball, Me’arah still has a long way to go. Me’arah went to Crossroads School in Santa Monica, California. She was available for all 24 games in her freshman year, averaging 5.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. Just like Griner, Me’arah O’Neal plays the position of center and averaged an impressive 2.7 blocks in the same freshman year.
Me’arah will make her final decision over the coming months. The excitement is palpable and it’ll be great to see Shaq’s daughter making a name for herself in the game of basketball.
