Recently, during the christening of a 54-year-old NBA legend’s grandson, Shaunie and her husband Keion Henderson had solemnized the occasion as the godmother and godfather, respectively.

Moments after the ceremony, Shaunie took to Instagram with pictures and videos of the day. Shaquille O’Neal’s close friend, Gary Payton, was seen posing with Shaunie and Keion during the occasion. Besides, both Shaunie and Keion Henderson held their godson and posed for pictures.

Shaunie’s recent Instagram update shows how close she and her godson Jacoby Deuce Childs are. Shaunie has shared a video posted by the young Jacoby Deuce as her story. In the video, Payton’s grandson could be seen tying Shaunie’s shoes. On the video, it has been written, “helping Loli.” “When your godson volunteers to tie your shoes, he really loves you,” Shaunie wrote on her story.

Jacoby’s christening was a big day for godmother Shaunie, not just because she was the godmother, but the day interestingly turned into a family reunion.
