Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets have been eliminated from the NBA Playoffs in the first round itself. It was an enormous shock for fans and pundits alike as they pegged this team as one of the favorites to win it all. They were swept by the Boston Celtics 4-0, which also shocked and surprised the fans. The duo of Durant and Kyrie Irving, on paper, looked like the best attacking duo in the league. They both flopped for the Nets during this series. There have been mounting off court problems for the Nets because of this elimination.

Kevin Durant didn’t help himself one bit by attacking former player Charles Barkley on Instagram. Why did he attack “Chuck” all of a sudden? It may have been because of the latter’s comment on Durant and “bus-driver”. Barkley mentioned that when championships are used to measure greatness, they should only count when the individual has led his team to that championship. Otherwise, he believes we should see the other bus riders the same as players who never rode it.

The Slim Reaper didn’t take kindly to those comments. He started posting stories of Barkley playing for the Houston Rockets with Hakeem Olajuwon and Scottie Pippen in 1999. Then, he posted a pic of Chuck with Tandem and Clyde Drexler. After that, he posted one where Chuck was in the Sixers alongside Julius Erving, Moses Malone and Maurice Cheeks and has the caption ‘Where would chuck be without the big homies’. Barkley has said before that he shouldn’t have been on that Rockets team and should’ve retired.
