Kevin Durant loves going on Twitter and interacting with his fans. Sometimes for appreciation and sometimes to answer the critics. Durant seems to be one of the most active social media users in the league. There have been instances where Kevin had gone a bit too far while exchanging words with certain fans who criticize him for irrelevant reasons.

Recently, Durant exchanged words with Nick Wright. This Twitter exchange started right after the Bucks and Nets game. Despite Durant’s clutch performance, Giannis and the Bucks had the best of the Nets.

Is Kevin Durant ranked above LeBron James?

It all started when Nick Wright tweeted about Kevin Durant, saying that the Slim Reaper will be the 2nd best player for life. He mentioned Durant was the second best to LeBron for a long while. And right when he passed LeBron James, referring to Durant’s Finals appearances, Giannis topped him.

Nick mentions Kevin’s previous accolades. From being the second-best in high school to the second pick in the NBA draft. Durant is a 2 time NBA champion, 2-time Finals MVP, and a former NBA MVP. KD is also a skillful scorer.

Though against LeBron, in the least five years, Durant had most of the time got the best out of him, be it individually or a team win.

After passing LeBron James, is the Greek Freak the next obstacle?

Kevin had great matchups against LeBron in the past, though versus Giannis. The outcome seems to be different. Giannis has averaged 38 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists on a 53% shooting against Durant in the last five games. These numbers are crazy. Both the players have the best scoring arsenal in the league.

But, Antetokounmpo gets the best out of Durant and his team. In the 2021 East Semifinals, Durant averaged 35 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists versus the Bucks. Even though after putting up such a great performance, the Nets lost in game 7.

Some might say that if Harden was healthy, there would’ve been a different outcome or if Kyrie had played, then surely the Nets would’ve defeated the Bucks. Injuries and other parameters play an important role, but in the end, whoever had the best of himself, wins.
