The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has an army of fans around the globe through his popularity. Among those fanatics, there are a few die-hard fans who tend to go overboard in their love for the franchise and the star. Additionally, they engage in flushing out hate through tweets and direct messages on certain occasions. Similarly, the Lakers’ co-owner Jeanie Buss took to her Twitter with a rebuttal on fan harassment. However, the fans further mocked Buss with hilarious comments.

Jeanie Buss is a popular sports executive who currently is the controlling owner and the President of the Purple and Gold side. Buss has been vocal about her opinions through her social media. Moreover, the star owner has faced several backlashes in the NBA world for the same. 

Buss’s rebuttal on alleged LeBron James fan harassment

Jeanie Buss shared the screengrab of the hate messages she received from a Lakers fan named LeBronchitis in 2022. Moreover, she further tweeted regarding the constant hate that she has been receiving from the Lakers fans. She responded to the User’s tweet which included a screengrab of their conversation. The tweet read, “Here is an example of the harassing messages…everyone is entitled to their opinion so I am not arguing about that. Its just that I don’t want my DM’s to be full of your pretend GM BS trade suggestions that’s all.” However, the tweet further aggravated fans’ hate as they swarmed the comments mocking her.

The Last two seasons have been a letdown for the Lakers’ family in terms of performance. The franchise failed to qualify for the post-season games last year and is currently struggling to win games. Moreover, King James addressed the poor run of the team to the reporters ahead of the All-Star game. He said, “Not being part of the postseason for two years straight, that’s not in my DNA.” However, the team has acquired a promising line-up before the trade deadline and would look to bounce back in the remaining 23 games.
