Jordan’s entrance became viral on the internet. He was greeted by pop not heard since Stone Cold’s return in Backlash 2000. Silver was on former player Kevin Garrett’s show. He was talking about the 75th Anniversary celebrations that took place during the All-Star weekend.
Silver said, “By the way, Michael Jordan, truth be told, it wasn’t always clear that he could make it. He’s a NASCAR team owner. His team came in second or won. I don’t know how he made it but he made it. He was there, and you saw that smile. He couldn’t take it off his face. If people are wondering, in case, yeah the cameras were rolling when he was on the court. The third quarter already started behind the scenes. As he said, he was with the fellas.”
He mentioned that all these greats such as Magic or Jordan are busy. Hence, the chance to share the stage with fellow greats lead to them being comfortable and unguarded with each other.

His leaping ability earned him the nicknames “Air Jordan” and “His Airness”. He also gained a reputation for being one of the best defensive players in basketball.
