Michael Jordan is widely regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time. He won 6 championships and helped globalize the sport unlike anyone else. After a hugely successful playing career, Jordan stepped foot into the front office by becoming the owner of the Charlotte Hornets (then Bobcats). The Charlotte Hornets have been one of the worst teams in the NBA for quite some time now. Since MJ became an owner of the franchise in 2006, they have only made the playoffs 3 times; they got knocked out in the 1st Round each time. The most notable player in their recent history has been Kemba Walker, who currently struggles to get minutes for the New York Knicks.
Biggest fan Of Michael Jordan
Skip Bayless is one of Jordan’s biggest supporters; some might even argue he is the biggest Jordan stan out there. He has always been a huge admirer of ‘His Airness’ and continuously makes it clear.

Skip condemned the ownership skills of Jordan but not before reaffirming his views on MJ, the player, “The obvious, unquestioned, undisputed GOAT”. He then stated, “Michael Jordan has clearly proven to be the worst owner and operator of an NBA Franchise, ever.” He made it very clear how he feels about MJ’s stint with the Hornets.
He continued, “The worst GM, the worst team builder ever. So, I guess we’re going to have to call this Jordan the ‘WOAT’, Worst Of All Time.” It is definitely surprising to see Skip criticize Jordan for something, but he is not wrong about it. Under Jordan’s ownership, the Hornets have had multiple lottery picks over the years. They have passed up on many superstars such as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Damian Lillard, Devin Booker, etc.
