March Madness is one of the most exciting events of the year for the hoops community. Basketball fans are currently on their toes as both NBA and the NCAA tournament reach their business end. While the teams are fighting for their NBA playoffs berth, the young athletes display their unreal balling skills. However, the Sacramento Kings star De’Aaron Fox recently uttered an unpopular opinion about the collegiate games. In response to the statement, thousands of loyal basketball fans roasted the star in the Twitter comments section.
The NCAA tournament stepped into the Elite Eight round after a cracking finish to the Sweet 16. As an unexpected turn of events, the favorites and overall top-seeded Alabama exited the tournament in the Sweet 16 round. Even the star NBA analyst Charles Barkley had his predictions go sideways twice in the tournament. Despite the unpredictable nature of the tournament, De’Aaron Fox’s statement came in as a shock for many.

In a recent interview, the NBA All-Star De’Aaron Fox criticized the March Madness games for their quality. In his statement, he said, “I can’t watch a full college game, it’s hard. The shot making is not at the pro level. The refs are bad. A lot of coaching is really bad. I can’t stand it.”

Notably, the star himself had proven his worth with great college performances. The Kings selected him with the 5th overall pick back in 2017. However, the star’s statement didn’t sit well with the fans on social media.
In response to Fox’s statement that surfaced on Twitter, one user said, “give me my money back ur nft was a rug @swipathefox.” However, the star’s statement has come in the wake of a crucial time in the NBA regular season. Even though the Kings stand tall as the 3rd seed in the Western Conference, they are yet to clinch a playoff berth. However, that’s a matter of when rather than if.

Despite his controversial comments, Fox continues to dominate the hardwood during crunch situations. He currently holds the record for most points scored in the fourth quarter with 507 points in 60 games.
I would rather look at my ceiling fan for 2 hours than watch a Sacramento kings basketball game.
