LeBron James and Isiah Stewart’s fight on the night of November 21, 2021, was one for the books. Gilbert Arenas, in a recent interview, revealed his opinion on the bout. He stated that just by LeBron’s reaction, one can deduce that he was not the aggressor. Whereas, Isiah got more emotional as people tried to hold him down. Thus, he guaranteed that Stewart must have gotten drug tested after the game.

“You’re making too much of a scene on LeBron James!”
Gilbert Arenas believes Isiah Stewart overreacted after LeBron mistakenly hit him on his face. Further, he stated that LeBron was merely trying to defend the ball by doing what most guards in the league also do. “He’s just big,” said Arenas on why LeBron doing it might have seen aggressive.
However, he stated LeBron’s reaction was contrary to that of an aggressor. James tried to pick him and it was clear on his face that he did not mean to do it, according to Arenas.

In addition, he said that the way LeBron behaved while sitting on the bench after the fight shows that he did not mean to create an issue. “He was trying to get his wristbands straight”, remarked Arenas. They discussed that King James, historically, has not been a dirty player.

What happened to LeBron James and Lakers then?
LeBron James was ejected in that game and so was Stewart. Beginning of the third quarter, the superstar was sent to the locker, leaving his comrades to take the charge. Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook rallied the Lakers squad to avenge LeBron’s ejection and win the game.

Davis put up 30 points that night. Furthermore, he cleaned the glass 10 times and had two huge blocks on Cade Cunningham in crunch time. Westbrook was no less even though he fell 1 rebound short of a triple-double. He put up 26 points, dished out 10 dimes, and secured the board 9 times. Lakers won the game 121-116, gaining back the lead from the equally energized Pistons.
