Ever since the Lakers vs Pistons game, only one thing has been trending. Isaiah Stewart’s outrageous reaction to LeBron James delivering a knock to him has taken the internet by storm. In a sequence of events, the 20-year-old center-forward tried to attack the veteran like a raging bull. Following the incident, numerous stars have come in support of James, lashing out at Stewart’s over-hyped actions. In one such comment, former Wizards starlet Gilbert Arenas has destroyed the youngster, making a sly Scottie Pippen remark in the process.

For some context, 56-year-old Pippen has lashed out at Michael Jordan, ever since the ‘Last Dance’ documentary came out. He believes that he wasn’t given enough credit, and that MJ was too selfish. After a week, the Lakers were finally able to register another victory to their name. Gilbert Arenas mentions Scottie Pippen while supporting LeBron James
After Isaiah lost his cool, players and security officials tried stopping further altercations. In the events that followed, multiple stars were ejected, and many others received technical fouls. But Arenas didn’t like the way Stewart went after the 36-year-old legend. On the other hand, he told the 6’9 beast to ‘pack his shit’. In a cheeky dig in the same post, Arenas took aim at Bulls legend Scottie Pippen, who is currently in an ongoing scandal with Michael Jordan.

After warning Stewart not to mess with the NBA’s big boys, the 39-year-old resumed, “Ummm that’s it, good luck moving forward my man. PS this was worse than the gun in locker room situation. Some can say this was #attemptedmurder. Only thing that can save u right now is (MJ dropping episode 11 of the Last Dance and he edits all Scottie Pippen scenes out).” Clearly, the now analyst was having none of what Steward did out on the court.
Isaiah Stewart clearly lost the plot on the night, but it is all a learning curve for the youngster. All drama aside, it was an important 121-116 victory for the men in yellow. Can they keep up the good work? Let’s wait and watch.
