NBA veteran Gilbert Arenas recently appeared in an interview with ‘Vladtv.’ During his interview, Gilbert Arenas was asked by the interviewer about clutch players and if he believed that LeBron James deserved to be called one. Players like Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan were renowned for their ability to seize control of games and win them on their own. They possessed a killer instinct and the power to win the game in crucial situations. LeBron James, though, plays in a different manner. Despite being an excellent player, he is often viewed as a team player.
Gilbert Arenas was of the opinion that in order to be a clutch player, you have to possess “fast twitch muscles.” Kobe and Jordan possessed these along with a few other players including Kyrie Irving, Devin Booker, Jimmy Butler and Kevin Durant, among others. However, he doesn’t feel the same way about LeBron.
The show’s host then asked if Stephen Curry belonged on that list. Gil, however, had mixed feelings about this. He said, “It’s weird because you know it’s… I can’t blame Steph for not being great in those moments.” However, this particular take on Steph Curry’s lack of expertise took a surprising turn.
He said, “In those moments during the development where a guy develops that and gets that confidence, he’s sitting. He was so dominant in the first three quarters he never had to play in the fourth quarter for most of the beginning of his first couple of years.”
He then pointed out how Steph lacks expertise.

Gil continued, “So you know he don’t really have the expertise of being in those moments. You know he has a few game wins under his belt, but he doesn’t have a lot because he just blew you out first three quarters, he’s sitting on the bench eating popcorn and sh**.”
According to Gil, he lacks expertise because Stephen Curry was too busy winning!
