When the mob encircled Giannis, he was carrying his asleep kid in his arms. Ignoring the crowd, he walked directly to his van to drop off his child before returning to greet the fans.

Giannis has previously said that LA was too expensive and that the city was not for him. The same person who questioned him about Los Angeles, prompting the above response from him, was there in the crowd. As he reminded Giannis of calling LA expensive the last time the two interacted, a Lamborghini roared down the road. This spurred Giannis to remark, “LA is too expensive and too loud.”

Well, it’s hard not to agree with Giannis. Everything in Los Angeles is far more expensive than Milwaukee. That should not be an issue for a worldwide star athlete like Giannis, though, who generates millions both on and off the court. But it’s his humility that shines through.

As Giannis was about to leave, the same fan asked him a question that left him speechless. He asked whether the city could afford him to play for any of the Los Angeles franchises, giving him two options: “Lakers or Clippers.” Giannis went back into his van without saying a word, showcasing his respect for the Milwaukee Bucks.
