Last year, the Bucks stormed to a phenomenal victory. Guided by the Greek freak himself, the men in green ended their drought of half a century. It was the side’s first title since the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar era. Although Giannis was the primary protagonist, he was aided by Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday. The President, no matter who it is, generally acknowledge major sporting achievements with an invitation to the White House. However, this was the first time that a team followed this tradition since 2016. The Bucks dressed up stylishly for their visit, and had a good time with Mr. Biden. In fact, Giannis had even posted a video of him practicing his greeting before the meet. When he arrived there, Giannis said that it was an ‘amazing gift’.

Middleton, who missed the visit due to a personal illness, received a wonderful message from the President. As revealed by the 26-year-old himself, Biden personally spoke to his teammate. “When I called, it rang like 20 times so when he picked up… I could see it in his [Middleton’s] face, he was like ‘what?’ Then the President wanted to talk to him and he was happy,” recalled Antetokounmpo.
