The Bucks’ #34 inspires everyone around him to be a better player; a trait very similar to a familiar foe. At the age of 36, LeBron James continues to shatter records everywhere he goes. Currently battling an injury, he will be desperate to get back on court for the Lakers. Giannis Antetokounmpo recalls how LeBron James gave him a signed jersey
Although he has already cemented his place in the league, the Athens-born star is still quite young. A big fanboy in his blooming days, Giannis possesses multiple jerseys of senior players. While many of them are from legendary competitors who played before him, a large number of jerseys are of his peers. Among these, he cherishes his signed LeBron James jersey.
Talking with GQ, Antetokounmpo reminisced the time when James gave him an autographed Lakers jersey. He told the interviewer, “LeBron James man. Look! Look what he wrote for me.” Giannis then proceeded to read out what the 17-time All-star wrote on his jersey. “To Giannis, aka the Greek Freak. Continue to strive for greatness every single day you wake up, brother. Love everything you represent to this game of hoops, and off the court as well. The limit is not the sky.
