Giannis Antetokounmpo is now a NBA champion and a Finals MVP. He said that he does not want to be called MVP until he wins the championship. Now, he rose to the occasion on the biggest stage. From the first quarter, the Greek Freak made it clear that he is here to win. He lived up to the expectations set on him by none other than Kobe Bryant.

Giannis scored 50 points in the championship game against the Suns. He is now tied for the 6th most points scored in an NBA finals game. He scored 20 points in a quarter for the second time in the series. In addition, he was at his best from the free-throw line missing just 2 of his 19 free throws tonight.

He had a memorable finals run as he averaged 35 points, 13 rebounds, 1 steal, and almost 2 blocks per game. Moreover, he has now had a game-winning block, a game-winning dunk, and a historic performance all in one Finals run. He shined brightly when all the attention was on him. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks defied the odds yet again and now are NBA champions.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s mentality as a 26 YO is the main reason for his greatness. Likewise, he said that they need to do it again.

The Milwaukee Bucks hold the Larry O’Brien trophy after 50 years. Fiserv Forum went wild as the buzzer sounded. Even though Giannis Antetokounmpo stole the night, other Bucks’ players played a huge part.

Off the bench, Bobby Portis scored his series-high 16 points. His energy was electrifying as he got the crowd going all night. Khris Middleton only added 17 points. However, he hit a clutch shot yet in the 4th quarter yet again while also adding 4 steals. Jrue Holiday struggled in the first half but found his step in the second half as he ended with 12 points and 4 steals.

For the Suns, no one could deliver a big night as Chris Paul scored 26 points. Booker was off tonight as he scored 19 points on 8-22 shooting. Moreover, he shot 0-7 from deep. Ayton couldn’t dominate on the rebounds and the Suns just fell apart towards the end. Being up at the half, Phoenix lost their composure and couldn’t seem to make a shot.

However, the main focus is the Milwaukee Bucks, as they are the 2021 NBA champions!
