Oklahoma City Thunder’s?small forward Kenrich Williams spread his arms with a slight bend in his knee. He leaned in, attempting to stop the?Golden State Warriors?leader,?Stephen Curry. Curry faked a step to the left and shuffled to the right, losing Kenrich for a second. A second was all the two-time MVP needed to make a three-point shot 27 feet away from the basket. The commentators exclaimed, the arena broke into brief applause, and the Oklahoma bench sat motionless. This was the story of the game; the Golden State Warriors beat the Thunders by 8 points, and in true Warriors fashion, Curry led the pack with a record-breaking 38-point performance.?
?
In the 8th minute of the third quarter, the Warriors led by 17 points. Warriors? star Jordan Poole dribbled toward the arc and passed the ball to Curry. A three-point classic was on his mind. However, Kenrich stood too close to him. So he danced around, rushed past two defenders, and executed a floater to perfection. This basket turned out to be a historic feat for the four-time champion. Courtesy of the floater, Curry had made the most field goals in Warriors franchise history (7,217), passing two-time NBA Champion Wilt Chamberlain. Naturally, after the final buzzer, this became the talk of the town.
