Shaquille O’Neal is a very entertaining personality. This quality of his had made him a bonafide mainstream crossover star. His popularity still endures among the young and the old. The young, especially, have seen him only as an analyst on TNT’s “Inside the NBA”. The older crowd, on the other hand, have seen him dominate teams on the court. Shaq combined size and athleticism in his game like no other.

He was a sight to see during his prime. Hence, he would be the ideal candidate to be asked about who is the greatest player. And therefore, he answered some questions along similar lines during an appearance on the Drink Champs podcast.

In the middle of the interview, the hosts started asking him about his preferences in a rapid-fire choices round. Shaq shot off his answers in a straightforward way. He chose Michael Jordan over LeBron James and had Kobe Bryant over Dwyane Wade. The big man, then, decided to pick on somebody he saw disapproving of his choices. He said, “Get your Ja Morant-lookin a** up outta here“. Shaq and the hosts of the podcasts proceeded to laugh over this moment. It turned out to be the podcast host’s son.

Shaq promptly apologized for his mistake. He called him handsome and told him not to mind his words. It was a Shaq moment at its finest. No one can beat him in this criteria. There is no one like Shaq in today’s sporting world. In fact, he has combined entertainment and sports in a very exciting and fun way over the years.

Shaquille O’Neal has played with and against the likes of Dwyane Wade, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James. He and Kobe formed the best one-two punch in the history of the NBA. They led the Los Angeles Lakers to three successive titles from 2000 to 2002.

Jordan was Shaq’s nemesis during his time in Orlando. The big man got the better of Air Jordan in the 1995 playoffs. But the next year, Jordan left no room for him to operate. Shaq and Wade played for the Miami Heat. Shaq may have been the bigger star but Wade overshadowed him quickly during the 2006 playoffs.

Shaq played with LeBron during the twilight years of his career. The big guy wanted to win the ring for “The King” in 2009-10. That dream failed to realize as they lost to the Boston Celtics in the Conference Semifinals.
