Phoenix Suns’ coach on the team’s performance
The Phoenix Suns have looked deflated on the court while their leader Devin Booker has spent time on the sidelines tending to an injury. In the game against the Knicks, DeAndre Ayton led the points table with 12 points and 2 assists.
The others on the team could barely pass the 10 point mark. On the other hand, the New York Knicks‘ saw an all-round team performance with five players bagging double digit points.
For Suns coach Monty Williams, this performance was “mind-boggling”. He said, “The frustration comes in for us because we?ve been a team that can overcome that when we are not shooting the ball well”.
