It’s typical for veterans of the NBA to comment on a current, ongoing situation in the game. Some actually deliver valid and logical opinions while others are mainly into clout. Though it’s hard to differentiate between the two separate views or opinions. Fans are always up for picking apart whoever is speaking against their teams. This time, an NBA Hall of Famer is facing the brunt of speaking against LeBron James‘ Lakers.
Lakers Head Coach, Darvin Ham has already made his intentions clear on how he wants the season to unfold. He wants his team to secure the 6th Seed. But this declaration made the NBA Hall of Famer George Karl come up with a rather insulting remark. In response to a tweet by Legion Hoops, Karl said “Yea and @GuruLakers and his Laker Troll followers all hope to leave their parents basements soon. But we don’t accomplish all our goals.”

As reported by Los Angeles Times, Ham said “Yeah, the goal is for us to come out and try to be the best version of ourselves each game, but definitely, if we can go and secure a spot, that is our goal right there,” Ham said. “If we fall into a play-in situation, so be it. But our No. 1 goal is to go secure a spot [and] not just throw games off here or there [and] just wish for a play-in. We want to go secure a spot.”
