The controversy surrounding Ja Morant still has not calmed down. Many analysts and former athletes have given their thoughts about the whole ordeal. While many have criticized Ja for his actions, some have shown support as well. NBA legend Charles Barkley condemned Morant. However, he was also worried that the young superstar might lose millions because of his activities. Notably, Nike recently cut their ties with NBA superstar Kyrie Irving amidst his anti-Semitic controversy.
Interestingly, Morant’s signature shoes, the Nike Ja 1s were announced after Irving’s departure. However, after the gun controversy, Nike released a statement and stood beside their superstar. But another major brand has now made a significant decision on Morant.
