Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is rightfully the highest-earning player in the league. He recently won his fourth NBA title which solidifies his status as one of the greatest players ever.

Interestingly enough, his massive contract means he will be earning more than some of the teams participating in the MLB. Curry will be earning a whopping $59 million during the 2025-26 season. This means his future salary will be more than the payrolls of some of the MLB teams back in 2020.
The Tampa Bay Rays, Baltimore Orioles, and the Pittsburgh Pirates had a payroll of $35 million, $37 million, and $38 million respectively in 2020. Not only his future salary, but Curry’s salary during the 2022-23 season also greatly undermines their payrolls.
Stephen Curry is on his way to becoming a future Billionaire
Four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry has a massive fan following around the world. It is only natural that he will be earning a lot from endorsements and brand deals.
Previously, Curry was signed to Nike. He left Nike to join Under Armour for a deal worth around $4 million back in 2013. Since then, he has been the face of Under Armour and has launched an offshoot apparel brand named Curry brand. This was done in order to compete with Nike and the Jordan brand.
Recently, he signed a major contract with the company that ties him down for his lifetime. Moreover, according to reports, this deal is reportedly worth more than $1 billion.
Stephen Curry currently has a net worth of around $160 million and it’s only a matter of time until he becomes a Billionaire like LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Apart from his huge salary with the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Curry earns an additional $30 million from endorsements.
