Stephen Curry joins Woods and McIlroy’s initiative

Recently, Stephen Curry has joined a huge initiative in the sport, led by golfing legend Tiger Woods and World No. 1 Rory McIlroy. Woods and McIlroy launched a company in August that plans to organize a tech-infused golf tournament called the TGL. The golf league will kick off in 2024. Moreover, the company announced the major investors in the project recently.

As per recent reports, Stephen Curry, Serena Williams, and Lewis Hamilton were the recent addition to the list of investors. Other renowned personalities who have invested in TGL are Andy Murray, Chris Paul, Alex Morgan, and Justin Timberlake, among others.?

The TGL will be the first project in partnership with the PGA Tour. In the tournament, professional athletes will compete at a tech-infused golf course, fitted with a golf simulator and short-game area. In addition, all the golfing action will transpire in front of a live studio audience and it will also be aired on TV.

Further, investing in a futuristic golfing idea from the pros seems to be a great investment opportunity for Stephen Curry. The 2022 Finals MVP?s net worth is $160 million and is expected to skyrocket in the future to over a billion dollars, once the Under Armour lifetime deal is finalized.
