Draymond Green was very active today with his actions and words. He once again mixed things up with his Denver Nuggets counterpart, Aaron Gordon. They were in it since the first quarter of the fourth game and now; they are right back at it again. Unlike the Game 4 altercation, which resulted in technical fouls for both players. Only Gordon was penalized in the Game 5 tiff, ostensibly for dropping the ball on Green. The Warriors star was on the ground after Gordon committed an offensive foul by bowling Green over.

After the ball was dropped on Green, the former NBA Defensive Player of the Year did several things in retaliation that somehow did not land him a technical foul of his own. While on the ground, Green attempted to grab one of Gordon’s legs before getting stopped by an official. After Steph Curry’s free throw, Green pursued Gordon and gently bumped into him from behind, once again requiring an official to separate the two. Even during the technical free throw, Gordon started calling Green some pretty rude words.

He also called out the referee from the match while he was on the bench. In the 2nd quarter, Nuggets? rookie Bones Hyland was driving to the hoop, and ended up kneeing Otto Porter Jr in the groin area. Hyland got away with it, and instead got free throws, as Porter Jr was called for a blocking foul. This did not sit right with Draymond Green. He protested saying he got suspended from the Finals for a lighter mistake.
