Naturally, he got offers worth millions from brands before even doing a single dribble in the NBA. Jordan inked a contract with the then-budding company Nike; and as they say, the rest is history. Jordan’s contract with Nike has netted him a staggering amount and has formed the major chunk of his net worth. Currently, MJ’s annual earnings from the Jordan brand stand at an astonishing $200 million per year.

Incidentally, Jordan brand brought in only $40 million before 2010. As a matter fact, Jordan now generates 500% more revenue than he did during his retirement 20 years ago.
