Game 1 between the Golden State Warriors and the Sacramento Kings was only a snippet of what’s to come. A newly brewed Western Conference rivalry, the excitement for Game 2 matched the previous battle. However, it’s safe to say, the Warriors and the Kings aren’t the only foes present at the Golden 1 Center tonight.
As faces came up on the big screen, the arena erupted in shock when they saw both Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent in attendance.

The playoff battle already had the thrill after a nail-biting end to the first game of the series. But it seems tonight the aura in the arena could just be different. While spectators in Sacramento came for a basketball war, what they saw on the big screens took them by surprise. Shockingly, both Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent made their appearances to watch some playoff action.

Their attending games isn’t surprising. ‘Money’ Mayweather is a basketball fan and is present courtside for several games. On the other hand, 50 Cent is a follower of the Sacramento Kings. The businessman also watched the previous game of the series donning a Kings jacket. However, the duo has a long history of being both friends and rivals.
At one time at the height of their fame, the two were inseparable. The blockbuster fighter even invited the rap legend to his birthday bash in 2007. But disputes over money created a major rift between the close friends. It went so far that 50 Cent mocked the 51-0 fighter challenging him to recite a single page from the Harry Potter saga.
Now you may be wondering, with such bitter rivals only walking distance away from one another, things could get ugly. But the days of them being bitter foes are far behind them. During an appearance on the Breakfast Club Show back in August 2022, the ‘In da Club’ artist revealed he and Money Mayweather are on good terms.

“I went to see him when I was in Vegas around my birthday. It was cool,” said 50 Cent about how the pair finally reconciled their friendship.
