4x NBA Champion Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors have had an underwhelming season compared to their previous records. The team has missed their superstar player for the majority of the season due to various injuries. Moreover, the Dubs have been struggling to find a winning combination as they barely stay afloat in the Western Conference. After a former NBA player disrespected the 9x All-Star and the Dubs on National television, Curry’s teammate hit back at the former star with a damning reply.

The Warriors are currently in the 7th seed with a 30-30 record. In the absence of the Chef, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole have taken care of the team’s offense. However, it hasn’t been enough for the Dubs, as they often fall short and struggle to turn the results in their favor. Meanwhile, an official update from the Dubs camp revealed that Curry could return to the hardwood after a second reevaluation in the coming week.
Kendrick Perkins slammed Stephen Curry and the Warriors
In the recent episode of NBA Today on ESPN, NBA Champion Kendrick Perkins had some harsh words for the Warriors. Perkins spoke about the lapses of the Dubs players in the absence of Stephen Curry. For instance, he called Jordan Poole an “emotional killer” and described Thompson as “still trying to prove to the world that he is Klay of old.” Moreover, he ended his rant with a brutal take. He said, “They are over with, this season is over for them.”
Additionally, he went on to speculate about the team’s equation with Draymond Green. He accused Green of disrespecting Curry by hugging LeBron James instead of the Chef after the Thursday night game. However, Draymond took note of the disrespect and had an apt reply for the former Celtics center.
Draymond Green’s fitting comeback
Hours after Perkins’ harsh statements, Green took to his Instagram and shared a video of Kendrick Perkins’ old gameplay on his story.
