Despite his 13-year-long unsuccessful stint with the Hornets, the 6x NBA champion made a lot of money off of this transaction. His Airness originally paid $275 million for the team in 2010, and the franchise is currently valued at an astounding $3 billion. This deal was overall valuable for Jordan even though on the court, he did not taste any success with the franchise.
Now, with his departure as a majority owner of the team, Jordan wants to provide some young and talented athletes to the Hornets. As per reports, the Chicago Bulls legend is set to conduct a final assessment of two of the finest young talents in the upcoming draft. Brandon Miller and Scoot Henderson have been making a lot of noise in the basketball community. The talented youngsters will be available in the forthcoming draft and the Hornets have their eyes on them.

The two athletes will be auditioning for the #2 overall pick in the upcoming draft on Thursday. However, this will be their first in-person assessment in front of the GOAT. Other than the two individuals, Victor Wembanyama is also an interesting candidate for this year’s draft. He has already been dubbed as the next superstar in the league. Regardless, Jordan’s assessment of Miller and Henderson could prove to be really vital for the Hornets.
