Shaq has followed the rap world for the longest time. He has also worked with several great names in the industry, like Nas, Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G, and many more. Creating a basketball lineup of rappers, Shaq put Lil Wayne at the 1, an icon that Shaq has famously collaborated with. The list only got better from there. Shooting guard Eminem was paired with billionaire Jay-Z on the wing. The last two spots were taken up by Busta Rhymes and Notorious BIG, who Shaq chose to play the 5.

This 54-year-old rapper did not make the list, but he was acknowledged by Shaq for a different reason.  Big Diesel shared a Big Daddy Kane reel captioned, “What’s the biggest “I’m him” moment in Hip-Hop history?” In the video, Kane dropped the mic in the middle of his freestyle only to smoothly recover it and continued the rap right after rhyming, “drop s**t and still making it look good”. The crowd went wild and froze during one of the most iconic moments in hip-hop history.

It has since then been a debate if he genuinely fumbled the mic or if it was on purpose. Given his on-stage charisma and the fact that he rhymed the next line perfectly, fans all over the globe prefer to lean towards the latter. Furthermore, the 54-year-old rapper recently opened up about Eminem.
