Formula 1’s grand entry into the country pulled in a galaxy of stars to the Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. Notably, the Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan’s son Marcus, along with his girlfriend, Larsa Pippen, joined Serena Williams, Tom Cruise, and several other Hollywood stars to witness the action. Moreover, the Dutch-Belgian racer, Max Verstappen, impressed the crowd with his unbelievable lead, starting ninth from the grid.

Several actors involved themselves in the racing crew before the start of the race. Notably, the “Mission Impossible” star Tom Cruise helped his hand around the Mercedes pit crew. “Fast and Furious” star Vin Diesel made a quick visit to the Mercedes garage amid the release of his new film “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3″.

Michael Jordan, who has always shown an interest in racing sports ever since the entry of his own team into the NASCAR events, couldn’t attend this year’s Grand Prix at Miami although he witnessed the Miami GP 2022. However, MJ’s son, Marcus Jordan, attended the grand affair along with his girlfriend, Larsa Pippen. The couple constantly uploaded videos and pictures from the event via Instagram stories.

Apart from the Jordan family, several celebrities, like Serena Williams, DJ Khaled, Ludacris, Patrick Mahomes, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and several others, witnessed the heroics of Max Verstappen. The Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback said, “I’m everywhere,” before the race.

The Red Bull racing dominated Sunday’s event, clinching the first two spots of the race. Verstappen overtook his teammate, Sergio Perez with nine laps remaining in the race and finished five seconds ahead of him. Verstappen said, “It was a good race… had a clean race, picked off the cars one by one and I could stay out really long on the hard tire,” after winning the race. 

MJ’s absence

During last year’s Miami GP, Jordan attracted all the media attention and in fact, singer Post Malone’s picture with MJ went viral after the event. However, this year, His Airness missed out on the action. Notably, days before the race, MJ spent time near the beaches of Spain with his wife, Yvette Prieto. However, several reports suggested that MJ was spotted in Morocco, hours before the race, enjoying his little expedition.
