Ever since Jaylen Brown made his debut in the NBA, he has taken leaps and bounds to improve his game. He has come a long way from being a rotation player to being one of the best players on a championship team. But he still receives some stick for the way he plays, especially after Game 2 of the NBA Finals by a former NBA champion.
Brown was excellent in Game 1 but in Game 2, he could not have the same effect. He went 5-17 from the field and had just 17 points. And many of his shots came from isolation and this impacted the other’s play as well. And this did not go down well with Kendrick Perkins.

Perk calls out Jaylen Brown for being selfish
Former Boston Celtics champion Kendrick Perkins was not happy with the way Brown was playing. He went out on Twitter to express his frustrations. He said, “Jaylen Brown is doing too damn much!!! Play through the damn TEAM. Don?t mind me and Carry on?”

The game was very close in the first half as both teams went back and forth. And then the Warriors juggernaut hit the Celtics in the third. They outscored the Celtics 35-14 which put the game to bed.?Curry was sensational in the third as he exploded for 14 points. The Warriors were excellent from three-point range as well as they went 7-12.
But perhaps the most important part was their defense. They held the Celtics to 23% shooting from the field and held them to 14 points. They made life difficult for the Celtics as they took a lot of bad shots and hurried them to shot clock violations. What was even more promising was to see Curry play some sensational defense against the Celtics.

The Celtics will now go back home disappointed but not dejected as they managed to do their job. They have taken one game on the road and now they need to take care of business at home. But it won’t be an easy task as the Warriors have always managed to sneak one on the road.
