There have been various players in NBA history who have had amazing partnerships on-court. On that list, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant come in as the top names. Shaq and Kobe’s incredible performances used to win the hearts of millions of people. They even won three straight championships together with the Los Angeles Lakers.

While O’Neal and Bryant had a great relationship inside the court, it was believed that they did not have the same bond outside. Many people believed that this led to their split in 2004. However, the two players seemed to have moved on and always had mutual respect for each other.

According to Shaq’s recent social media post, he never hesitates to share old pictures of him and Bryant. Rick Fox recently posted a picture on Instagram. The picture included Shaq, Bryant, and Fox. It was captioned “my brothers forever”.

There are some memories from the time they played for The Los Angeles Lakers when all three of them were together. Their friendship and coordination helped them give great performances for the team and win titles.

Shaq then posted it on his Instagram story. It is not the first time that he is talking about Bryant in regards to bringing back some old memories that they had when they played together.

At that time, there were numerous headlines and news items about their off-court struggles and not getting along. Through it all, one thing remained common: respect for one another. When Bryant sadly passed away, Shaq expressed his feelings for Bryant.

Shaq mentioned at one point that despite differences, the two were still together as part of the NBA. In his interview with the TheCoachesNetwork Podcast, he said, “I was playing with a younger version of myself. Somebody that had the same mentality. A lot of times guys worry about titles instead of worrying about certain things. We were both about whose team it is, who’s the best player on the team? We had a job to do… [indiscernible] won three championships in a row.”

The relationship between them was beautiful. Every once in a while, Shaq misses his former teammate. In his posts, he keeps mentioning their time together. And he even talks about him in interviews.
