A lot has been said and done about Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls these past few weeks. While some bickering and ill will are normal amongst teammates, nobody knew that Scottie Pippen and MJ were also one of those who just seemed like they were getting along, but the reality was something else entirely.
In his memoir ‘Unguarded’, Pippen has made a lot of controversial comments about his former teammate. However, instead of getting the sympathy that he might have been expecting, some people have bashed him for it. In fact, they’re refusing to believe all that he has claimed, including former Chicago Bulls‘ big man, Bill Wennington.

Bill Wennington can’t corroborate Pippen’s claims
In the most recent interview, Wennington was asked about all that Scottie Pippen wrote in his memoir, and how much of it was true. “I didn’t see it back then,” he started off. “And I don’t know if I had rose-colored blinders on but I didn’t see it. Everyone was getting along, everyone was hanging out together, and doing things.”
“I don’t know if something happened with Scottie. I mean, I respect his opinion. He has been one of my favorites Bulls teammates and it was a lot of fun. But I don’t know if something has happened.” Wennington shed light on the fact that Pippen has had a difficult time these past few years, with the passing of his son. And maybe, it is his pent-up feelings that are finally coming out.
“If he really felt that way, he did a great job of hiding it while we were playing because it didn’t affect us when we were playing. We all got along really well at the time,” Bill concluded.
