Kanye West, or Ye as he is otherwise known, has been removed from both his Twitter and Instagram spaces, owing to his oppressive and antisemitic posts. The rapper said he would go “death con 3 on Jewish people”.
In the sports world, two players have also terminated their contracts with Kanye West’s sports agency, Donda Sports. The Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown and the Los Angeles Rams’ Aaron Donald gave out statements regarding their decision to cut ties following his recent controversial comments.
"I now recognize that there are many times when my voice and position can't coexist in spaces that don't correspond with my stance or my values… I am terminating my associating with Donda Sports."

Brown admitted that after much introspection, he was able to conclude that he could not continue as his voice and values did not align with West’s beliefs. The reason for his termination was in choosing to be responsible for standing against “oppressive rhetoric of any kind”.

Donald also shared a similar thought process for choosing to leave the agency. He declared that Ye’s comments were contradicting his family values. He strongly condemned any kind of hate speech and wanted his family to be responsible parents and members of society.

Global businesses like Adidas, Balenciaga, and JP Morgan have announced that they would be no longer associated with the rapper. “Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye?s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company?s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness,” the German sports apparel company said in a statement.
