As we inch closer to the NBA Draft 2023, excitement around certain players continues to build up. Although there are several athletes up for a pick as per tradition, a few of them are attracting great interest. Taking up a huge chunk of the media attention amidst the Draft is Zion Williamson‘s baby mama drama. Williamson has been hitting the headlines lately and not for a good reason.
While the footage sharing continues, there could be an unbelievable crossover between Williamson and one of the top 3 prospects of this year’s Draft. The G League star who was reportedly snubbed by the great Michael Jordan‘s Charlotte Hornets, could end up replacing the 22-year-old power forward.

There are some really talented youngsters lined up for this year’s Draft. Among them is Scoot Henderson, a 19-year-old point guard in the G League basketball. While the speculations around Henderson’s possible future continue to float, a recent report suggested that the Hornets are backing out on him.
This update was heavily criticized on the internet by fans as many felt that not going for Henderson will prove to be a big mistake for the franchise. The Hornets have been focused on Brandon Miller now, who is a forward for the Alabama Crimson Tide team.
Although there are a few more days to go before we find out which picks will land with what franchise, the buzz around an NBA Draft is unreal as ever. Adding to the excitement, there appears to be a new home for the 19-year-old G League star. As per reports, the New Orleans Pelicans are looking to bring in Henderson. Could that mean that the Pelicans will get rid of their 22-year-old star player amidst his baby mama drama? Shams Charania reported, “I?m told [The Pelicans] are going after Scoot Henderson… Do the Pelicans look hard internally of moving Zion Williamson?”

Additionally with the Hornets shifting their interest away from Henderson and Williamson caught up in the drama, the signing could make a lot of sense if it goes through. As for Henderson, he was a five-star recruit when he was in high school. At 17 he signed with Ignite and is said to be one of the top three picks in this year’s NBA Draft.
