Things are starting to heat up between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets. Their Game 3 battle saw two ejections, including the shocking flagrant two on James Harden. The attraction of the game was the clash between the two big men, Joel Embiid and Nicolas Claxton. It was evident, these two had bad blood. Things escalated from the very beginning which led to Embiid kicking the Nets star in the groin.
Surprisingly, at the end of it all, Embiid was the one who finished the game, but the 24-year-old couldn’t. In his recent podcast episode, Draymond Green spoke on the incident and revealed whose side he is on. The Sixers won Game 3 to take a commanding 3-0 series lead against the Nets.

A major argument broke out following the duel between Joel Embiid and Claxton. After a mean dunk early in the game, Claxton stepped over the MVP frontrunner. Riled up with anger, Embiid kicked the Nets center. Surprisingly, he escaped away with just a flagrant one, and the incident got Claxton his first technical foul of the game.
Their intense face-off didn’t end there. Later in the fourth quarter, the Nets center got the better of the six-time All-Star yet again. Unfortunately, he lost his emotions. A second technical foul came his way, and that was it for Claxton.
While he revealed he didn’t care about what happened, Draymond Green came to the defense of the young center. As a fan of the NBA and basketball, the four-time champion loved the battle and the heat of the playoffs. The emotions that came out from the two for Green signified their inclination towards one cause: winning.
“That’s Nic Claxton going up against Joel Embiid, MVP of the NBA. You dunk on him, you should flex in his face, cause he going to give you 40 and flex in yours. So,?when I get my moment, you should flex in his face. And I bet you there was not one fan who paid to watch that game that said ‘Man, why is he flexing in his face?’ because you appreciate that,” said Draymond Green about the whole incident.

Green labeled Claxton’s ejection as ‘whack’. The four-time All-Star feels the Nets center, who got kicked initially shouldn’t have been thrown out for merely standing up for his honor. Claxton was crucial for the Nets in that game scoring 18 points on 8-9 shooting. Not just that, but as Joel Embiid’s primary defender, he held the dynamic center to just 14 points.
