Throughout the match, many stars and well-known faces from the NBA community reacted to the play with an electrifying atmosphere set in at the Golden 1 Center on Saturday. However, Ayesha Curry’s excitement for the game wasn’t enough for her husband as the Kings ended up being too much for the Dubs. Spectators, including leaguer Kyle Kuzma, were left in a frenzy as the charged-up air soon gave way to the realization of the defeat.

After the loss, Draymond Green immediately went live on his podcast, the Draymond Green show, to explain what went wrong with the game, while candidly accepting how it was a big blow for the San Francisco side.

“Dubs lost the game 126-123. If I’m being quite honest, to have Steph with a shot to tie the game and go to overtime, I didn’t think we played great, “ said Green. He added, “… I think there’s a lot of things we can do better? obviously we don’t do moral victories, so I’m not going to sit here and say ‘we feel good about that’ like fu** no, like we lost the game, we down 0-1 and you got to figure out a way to go get game two.”

A decade ago, such statements by Green could be taken with a pinch of salt. However, four rings later, one can truly believe that the Warriors’ no. 23 knows what he’s saying, with his now-extensive experience of the playoffs. Green also explained how the Kings star, De’Aaron Fox blew past them and how the Dubs should’ve handled him better.
