The Los Angeles Lakers just can’t seem to catch a break. They blew another big lead against the Atlanta Hawks and ended up losing the game. They were without LeBron James, but their poor game management skills showed up again. This loss leaves them 3 games below.500.

The Lakers started the game well, and they had an 11 point lead with a little over 10 minutes left in the game. But their ineffectiveness to close a game out bid them again, as the Hawks rallied back to win the game. The Lakers will be kicking themselves as this was a considerably easier fixture in their tough road trip. Now, they only have 2 and half-game lead over the 11th placed team, and that is not a position they imagined being in.

The Lakers blow another lead

The Lakers were coming off a two-game losing streak, and they had hoped to end the losing streak and pile on more misery on the Atlanta Hawks. They started the game really well, but the Hawks came back and took the lead. However, the Lakers were able to survive that run and they took the lead at halftime. They built on that lead and had 11 point lead at the 10:45 mark in the fourth quarter.
