The Los Angeles Lakers locked horns with the Houston Rockets and were able to end their run of three losses. LeBron James and Russell Westbrook stood up to secure a victory for the purple and gold. However, amidst the game, Russ got into a heated argument with one of the members of the coaching staff of his own team. Fans would be surprised to know about the altercation that took place between the two.

The Lakers dominated the game from the start and were leading by 12 points after the end of the first half. The LA side was clearly superior on the court but the former MVP seemingly was not happy. As a result, he had something to say to the coaching staff that eventually led to a heated argument between them.

During the end of the first half of the Lakers vs the Rockets game, as Westbrook was heading toward the locker room, he could be seen walking down toward coach Phil Handy. Subsequently, the 34-year-old could be seen uttering a few words toward the coaching staff in front of James.

Though at first, it was unclear what they were discussing, later, a report by Jared Greenberg emerged on the internet and revealed everything. It disclosed that the nine-time All-Star said to Handy that they ‘”have to be better than that”.?The report further unveiled that in reply Handy said, “We all have to be better.”

Following that interaction, the former MVP again started to warm up in the tunnel for the second half. The 34-year-old didn’t let the heated argument distract him as he finished the game being the second-highest scorer.

Though Westbrook called out the coaching staff during the mid-game, the 34-year-old made sure to give his best on the hardwood. As a result, the former MVP finished the game being one of the instrumental players of the Lakers. The nine-time All-Star finished the 140-132 win over the rockets with 24 points, five rebounds, and four assists.

On the other hand, King James was perhaps the best player on the court Monday night. Last night, even at the age of 38, James showcased his caliber and dropped 48 points. Moreover,?he grabbed eight rebounds along with assisting his teammates nine times. Following last night’s victory, the Lakers currently sit in the 13th position in the Western Conference table.
