Shaquille O?Neal was arguably the most dominant player to set foot on the basketball court. The stories of his dominance alongside friend and teammate Kobe Bryant in the league are no secret. The LA night light was shining brighter at the turn of the century, thanks to the charismatic duo. Despite having retired from the league years ago, Shaq doesn’t shy away from reminding everyone of his legacy. A similar thing happened recently when Charles Barkley decided to poke his pal on camera.

Charles Barkley and Shaq almost got into a physical altercation when Barkley decided to throw a little shade at the Big Aristotle. Shaq didn’t take the jibe well at all and proceeded to threaten Barkley with his police records.

In a recent episode of NBA on TNT, the crew were discussing the amazing performance of the Eastern Conference leader, the Milwaukee Bucks. The team is currently on a 16-game win streak.?

Charles Barkley, as always, converted this discussion into poking fun at the big man. When Chuck asked Shaq about his longest winning streak, the Lakers legend seemed to get a little offended.

?Longer than that [Bucks’ win streak], I?m a legend,? said the Big Aristotle. Subsequently, Barkley decided to call Shaq “sensitive” gauging the tone of his voice. This further aggravated the Big Man and compelled him to almost threaten Barkley, ?boy you better check my police records??

Come to think of it, the two legends are often seen pulling each other’s legs. It is a big reason why the show is extremely popular among NBA fans. Many wouldn’t want to watch just basketball analysis in a 82-game season.

But here things got serious pretty soon. An impending physical fight between the two legends was stopped by a composed Ernie Johnson trying to end the scene as quickly as possible. The show soon went into a commercial break, but what happened after that behind the scenes is not known.

Interestingly, the Los Angeles Lakers legend does have a longer win streak than the current streak of the Milwaukee side. Back when Kobe Bryant and Shaq were destroying opponents, they had quite the run, landing them among the top ten win-streaks in the league’s history.?

The current Bucks squad isn’t too far off, with their 16 wins, and could possibly surpass the legendary Lakers from 2000. However, it isn’t something unbelievable from the Milwaukee side, as they have been performing at such standards for the past 4-5 years. Their franchise-topping winning streak was set in 2020 when they had 18 wins in a row. Although fans are confident, only time will tell if they will be able to translate such performances to the postseason.
