Shaquille O’Neal is one of the greatest players ever to have played the game of basketball. The Los Angeles Lakers legend was a man mountain who used his size advantage to the fullest. Shaq dominated players in the low post area and would easily get to the basket. He was dominant on the defensive end too and would easily block shots due to his height advantage.

Shaq also had a great personality. Everywhere he went, he was loved by fans and media alike. After he retired in 2011, his over-the-top personality helped him establish his media career. On a recent episode, Shaq was asked to comment on another podcast that had some very pointy observations on women. The host of the other podcast said that women gave too much importance to their careers and hence were single long after. When asked, Shaq said, “I am not gonna answer that… due to the sensitive backlashians…there is a whole clan out there that gets sensitive. I am not gonna answer that.”

The league had never seen anything like Shaq when he entered the league. His combination of mammoth size and fast footwork terrorized defenders. Big players couldn’t stay with him because of his quickness and Shaq bounced the smaller players around due to his size.
He changed the Orlando Magic franchise around during his four-year stay with them. He led them to the franchise’s first NBA Finals in 1995.

Shaq won four NBA Championships across with two teams. His first three NBA Championships came with the Los Angeles Lakers where he won three NBA Finals MVPs for his efforts.
