During last night’s post-game interview, a journalist told Kevin Durant that his team could face the Nuggets in the second round of playoffs and the Los Angeles Lakers and the LA Clippers in the first round. He proceeded to ask, “How much of the last weekend is not showing your hands – not giving these guys anything to prep for?” The 13x All-Star, with a grin on his face, went on to repond with what appeared to be a warning for those who face him in the playoffs.
The Suns guard responded, “We’ve played 80-something games, We’ve logged in 1,000 minutes of film. If you a playoff coach and you’re not prepared for how we coming as a team I don’t think you should have that job…There’s no hiding anything at this point…”

KD’s statements implied that a coach ought to leave their job if they still don’t understand how good the Suns are even after watching so many games of their games.
The Suns are in fact one of the best teams this season and have elevated to another level after the two-time Finals MVP Durant joined them. They will definitely be a threat to their opponents in the playoffs as they are loaded with extremely talented players such as Devin Booker, Chris Paul and arguably the most lethal scorer, Kevin Durant. However, fans appeared to dismiss his cautionary words and seemed to have had a good laugh out of his sarcastic advice.
KD’s statements failed to deter fans
Fans rushed to comment on Twitter soon after a post showing the interview clip was shared. Most of them didn’t take his statements seriously which evidently became an object of mockery.
