Mikey Williams is the next big thing in the world of basketball. Despite being only 18 years old, he has already caught the attention of NBA fans from around the world. During a recent high school game, Williams, who is already a top recruit, executed an explosive dunk perfectly. With the clips of his dunk immediately doing the rounds of the internet, the sensation started to make a name for himself even before his league debut.

While many fans on Twitter have reacted positively to the viral post, some fans are calling out the defender who lost the challenge. According to them, they need to get their act together and toughen up. Moreover, they have also questioned the legality of the dunk by Williams.

18-year-old Mikey Williams had his highlight reel moment recently. During one of his games in a packed gym, he dunked over his challenger perfectly and stared on. This has sent fans into a frenzy and here are some of the reactions to Williams’ dunk.

As the above reactions suggest, there are both positive and negative reactions to the clip. Some have even called out a foul in Williams’ play while also criticizing him for being disrespectful.

Williams has already committed to a college

Mikey Williams is one of the hottest prospects belonging to the class of 2023. He is just 18 years old and has a long future ahead of himself. Interestingly, his talents were once noticed by none other than LeBron James. Needless to say, numerous top colleges from across the country would be dying to get him to represent their college.

The four-star guard posted a picture wearing a Memphis jersey and captioned the photo, ‘committed’. The 6-foot-2 inches tall sensation is already a big name among the fans. He already has more than 3 million followers on Instagram and more than 2 million followers on TikTok.

Recently, he had an epic matchup that ended up with both players having a combined 68 points. Williams faced off against JJ Taylor who is another top prospect. Taylor ended the game with 26 points and 10 rebounds. On the other hand, Mikey Williams recorded 34 points and 9 assists.
