According to Golden State Warriors columnist Monte Poole, the Warriors’ era may soon be coming to an end. According to Poole, ?There is some concern that this could be the last dance…If Bob [Myers] were to leave, I know Steve [Kerr] would be devastated and Steph will be disappointed.?

Monte Poole made an appearance on ‘95.7 The Game’ radio station. He discussed various aspects of the Warriors with Damon Bruce and Ray Ratto. That is when Poole revealed what was going on within the Warriors? front office along with rumors of Bob Myers exiting the Warriors franchise.
Now, this sure is devastating news for Warriors fans. However, some of them do seem to accept it wholeheartedly. Drawing comparisons to Michael Jordan’s last dance and Tim Duncan’s dominance with the San Antonio Spurs over the years.

As much credit that Stephen Curry deserves for the Warriors? success, a lot of that should also go to Bob Myers. Starting off as an assistant GM, Myers worked his way to become the general manager of the Warriors.

He is solely responsible for making great draft picks that led to the Warriors dynasty. Myers made some tough calls over the years. Like not trading the other half of the splash-brothers duo, Klay Thompson, and signing him to an extension.
