Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets took on the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday. The Nets were on a four-game losing streak and they looked to snap it at the expense of the team owned by Michael Jordan. The Hornets are closing on the Nets for the ninth spot and this was a glorious chance to leapfrog them.

But Irving had other plans. He poured in a season-high 50 points as the Nets won 132-121 in a game which they never trailed after the first few minutes. Kyrie was at his best, scoring from everywhere. He hit 15 out of his 19 shots and nine of his twelve threes. Irving also went 11-13 from the free-throw line. He showed that he is still one of the elite point guards in the league and the Nets will be glad with his performance.

And Kyrie was doing it all by himself, scoring from everywhere, especially from deep.
