After the staggering win in game 1 by the Los Angeles Clippers, the fans were ecstatic about their postseason future. However, their star, Kawhi Leonard suffered a knee sprain in the same game, which he tried to brush off in game 2 until he couldn’t. Additionally, Paul George was injured beforehand and was projected to miss round 1 of the playoffs.

Naturally, it impacted Lob City’s game and the team couldn’t get a single win after that. It was a huge void that the Clippers couldn’t fill, leading to the end of their postseason. Although fans knew this loss wasn’t avoidable, they didn’t expect their head coach to be so casual after the team’s loss.

Following the game 5 loss to the Suns, Ty Lue came out with some surprising statements finding the silver lining in their round 1 exit. In a few words, Lue explained his feelings on the series.

“The encouraging thing for me is with PG and Kawhi healthy, we haven’t lost a series,” said Lue. According to many, there was a lack of responsibility from the upper management in wasting a crucial game 1 win against the Phoenix side.?
