With Stephen Curry celebrating his birthday, he got the best present any Warrior could ask for. On the eve of his 34th birthday, Steph got back his partner Draymond Green. Since before the All-star break, Green has been out for the Bay. However, he is now back and it for not take him much time to make an impact. Capping off yet another win this season, Curry felt the presence of Draymond on the court.

Back in 2015, the Warriors started off their dynasty. With Steph, Klay, and Green as the main pieces, their chemistry was unmatched. But in the last couple of years, the trio didn’t get to share the court as much with injuries to Klay. In addition, on the day the second splash brother returned, Green suffered an injury.

However, now with the trio back got the first time, they made an instant impact. And fans were quick to notice.

Draymond Green brings Stephen Curry back on track

In his first game back, Green was welcomed with love from the fans and Draymond was not rusty in any way. In just 20 minutes, Green showcased his importance to the team playing his part on both ends of the court. Moreover, it seems Curry loved his birthday present as he went off against the Washington Wizards. In the 126-112 win, the Warriors trio showed out in their first game.

Without Green, the Warriors’ defense really felt the toll. They were the best defense in the league with Green, but have fallen since then. However, with him back, their true power was on display.

Stephen Curry went off on his birthday. Tallying 47 points, he enjoyed an efficient game after a long time. He shot 50% from downtown and kept the Warriors’ offense going. Coming off a season-high, Klay racked up 20 points. Green had a typical game with 6 points and 6 assists. In addition, he was the biggest difference-maker with a +24 for the game.

For the Wizards, Kristaps Porzingis led the way. The Unicorn tallied 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Former Lakers, Kuzma, and Caldwell-Pope combined for 30 points. The Washington bench unit scored an impressive 45 points for the night. But the Warriors proved to be too much for them.
