The Philadelphia 76ers are having an amazing 2022-23 season. They could not have planned it out any better, especially with the injuries faced by their superstar James Harden. Harden’s brief unavailability didn’t affect the squad much as Joel Embiid took on the responsibilities of the main man. Embiid’s terrific performances throughout the season have kept the 76ers in the running for the playoffs. Meanwhile, Harden has expressed his disappointment on social media after a recent snub, triggering fans to chime in with their comments.

Fans were, for a lack of a better word, not pleased with Harden’s social media post as he expressed his discontent with the All-Star snub this year. The Twitterverse felt that Harden’s snub from the All-Star roster was pretty justified and they let him know it.

Despite the season that the 76ers are having, James Harden was not considered for the All-Star roster for the All-Star weekend. The Beard has been a part of the All-Star team for 10 consecutive seasons since the 2012-13 campaign. Safe to say, Harden wasn’t pleased as he went on to express his frustration on his Instagram. “The Disrespect” wrote Harden in his story, which sent the Twitterverse into a frenzy, as many believed he wasn’t deserving of the position at all this season.

Y’all got some explaining to do @NBA” wrote Embiid on his Twitter. Harden and his foot injuries have cost him a lot of games this season. The 76ers’ no. 1 played 34 of the 50 games this season, contributing to the snub.

Joel Embiid’s performances takes him to another All-star selection

Embiid is proving his astonishing talent year after year. The 28-year-old was the runner-up for the NBA MVP trophy two times and finally, this year might be his chance to grab it. The last two times he fell short of Nikola Jokic. Embiid is averaging 33.5 PPG, 10.1 RPG, and 4.2 APG for the season.
