The Los Angeles Lakers grabbed a comfortable 95-85 win against the Houston Rockets. They have finally surpassed their losses and inched closer to the top of the Western Conference, with an improved 4-3 record. This is a big relief for fans who had to see the team lose all their matches in the preseason, only to start of the regular season very rusty and losing vital games. Unfortunately for LeBron James, he has still managed to find himself under scrutiny for his poor shooting from the arc.

Skip Bayless bashed LeBron James, again!

For this win against the Houston Rockets, Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony deserve most of the credit. Westbrook has finally seemed to have found his footing in the new team, contributing 20 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds. And even Carmelo Anthony is proving to be an asset for the team off the bench.

LeBron James, on the other hand, despite all that he does, lands himself in the zone of criticism. Only this time, it’s about his poor three-point shooting. Bron’s start to the 2021-22 campaign has been rather slow. His shooting split per game is 43.6/33.3/76.2. In the first three games, he went 14/29 from the three-point line but has only shot 1 three in the past two games despite 16 attempts.

So, Bron’s most consistent critic, Skip Bayless took this opportunity to attack him. He posted on Twitter, “LeBron James, dead-eye 3-point marksman, is now 1 for his last 16 from three. Make that LeBrick James.”

If that wasn’t enough, the NBA fans on Twitter couldn’t help themselves either. Some spoke in support of Bron, but some joined in to bash him.

Truth be told, the Los Angeles Lakers were the worst three-point shooting team last season. Thankfully, with Carmelo Anthony’s addition to the roster, that gap has been filled well. Bron, like many other great players, has his shortcomings. That hardly negates the fact that he’s still one of the best in the league. And this is despite struggling from the three-point line.

One can only imagine how much worst it will get for the other teams if he does end up finding his rhythm to shoot threes again. But the Lakers also have to focus on keeping their winning momentum, as they will face the Houston Rockets once again. Can Bron channel all this hate and bring out another victory?
