LeBron James is in the twilight years of his long and illustrious career in the NBA. Still going strong in year 20, King James has finally shown few signs of father time catching up to him. Even though he is still putting up big numbers for his age, it really hasn’t transitioned into much as the Lakers are in the bottom half of the Western Conference. Moreover, fans are ripping Jeanie Buss for repeating the same mistake she made with Kobe Bryant.
James is currently 37 years old. He will be turning 38 by the end of this year. Yet, he is still managing to score 30 points on multiple nights. However, the Lakers are still 13th in the Western Conference with a 13-19 record.

Now, fans are getting frustrated over the fact that the President and owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, Jeanie Buss, is ruining the final years of LeBron James in the league, just as she did with Kobe Bryant.
Neither Buss nor Rob Pelinka have done anything to help James win more games so far this season. And even though Pelinka had given a statement that the front office will be making changes, nothing has been done as of now.

Another fan commented, “I have been saying that for over a decade. The organization has that track record and that’s why players don’t want to play for the Lakers and not because of Kobe or James.”

Here are some more reactions from Twitter.
Y’all are acting like it takes a lot to win with LeBron and AD. The 2020 Lakers won with Kuz being their 3rd option. It was because they opted for depth. The Lakers already have role players who can contribute (Lonnie, Reaves, Troy, Wenyen, TB31) we just have to make some moves!

I will say it again Lebron failed the Lakers the moment he approved for the Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook trades. They gave up way to damn much for those 2 and now the rosters showing. Lebron did it too himself when he chose to play GM instead of NBA Player.

Lebron has a superteam right now and Kobe went out there with Nick Young and Robert Sacre

Facts but this is lebron fault for trading away the young core. Lonzo, Ingram, kuzma , hart etc … for a Anthony Davis that be injured all the time. Now we have no future no chemistry.
Lebron got 1 great for the GOAT but as a lakers fan I’ll admit I rather see the young core.

While some fans were in agreement, others blamed James for asking the Lakers’ management to make moves in his favor.
LeBron has more to work with

An interesting take is that James still has one of the best power forwards in the league right now. Anthony Davis is an eight-time All-Star who has been leading the team in points and rebounds.
Plus, the Lakers also have Russell Westbrook as the leader of the team’s second unit. Kobe Bryant, on the other hand, barely had any help in his last years in the league. The 2016-17 Lakers were dead last in the Western Conference with a 17-65 record by the end of the season.

The next best player on the team after Bryant was Jordan Clarkson and Lou Williams who were averaging around 15 points per game. James still has much better help than that yet the team has continued to struggle.
Let’s see if the front office for the Los Angeles Lakers does decide to make moves in order to get the most out of the final years of LeBron James.
